Hi everybody!

My name is Samuel (he/him) and I’m a sophomore representative on the Student Fee Advisory Committee (SFAC), as well as the Social Media Subcommittee Chair (follow our Instagram @ucsb.sfac). I’m from San Gabriel, CA and I am a sociology and communication double major.

Previously, I worked on the disbursement of funding within the on-campus residence halls, and now I work as a Resident Assistant in the same building. I'm also involved with the Daily Nexus, our on-campus news publication. I believe that being approachable, friendly, and transparent leads to the most meaningful use of student funds. That means making sure that students know where their money is going or helping them understand what we do. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our Instagram page with any questions!
